Win or lose you will never regret working hard, making sacrifices, being disciplined or focusing too much.

spiritualinspiration:

Being your absolute best is a process. God is a consuming Fire. Therefore, when you get close to him he will refine you, he will knock off the rough edges and He will teach you valuable lessons.  During this process you may want to quit, but God is saying, “don’t quit, I am preparing you for a great purpose, hang in there your Blessing is on the way” (Gal 6:9) You need to get up in the morning and say, “God I trust you, I know and believe everything is going to work out! You are behind the scenes working on my behalf! My time is coming!” When you do this you are stepping out of the way and letting go and letting God work! Trust and believe your blessing is on the way!! -Naeem

The new radicalism is paper. Right? Publish it on a printed page and no one will ever know about it. It’s the perfect vehicle for terrorists, plagiarists, and for subversive thoughts in general. If you don’t want it to exist—and there are many reasons to want to keep things private—keep it off the web. But if you put it in digital form, expect it to be bootlegged, remixed, manipulated, and endlessly commented upon. Expect spiders to pick it up and use it as ad-bait on spoof web pages. The moment you put it out there, all bets are off; it’s way out of your control.

So true. Duh. I want more people to understand this.

If everything is shared automatically, nothing has significance.

Smart post addressing some of the downsides of “frictionless” sharing. (via arainert)

Completely agree. Part of the reason why I disabled the automatic sharing option on my blog.

Life is not about discovering our talents; it is about pushing our talents to the limit and discovering our genius.

Every major decision in life boils down to four simple words:
Is.It.Worth.It?
Answer that and you’ve already made your decision.

So young so wise.

Brand humility is the only response to a fast-changing and competitive marketplace. The humble brand understands that it needs to re-earn attention, re-earn loyalty and reconnect with its audience as if every day is the first day.

Well said. For the meek shall inherit the earth. Corporate and individual alike.

An opinion is NOT a position. A position is NOT an opinion. In the final analysis, the two have nothing in common.

Blogging vs. trading! | PeterLBrandt

This is a great post! As a fellow blogger, I couldn’t agree more. I rarely trade every opinion (article) I publish. As a swing/position, you have to deal with a ratio of losers to winners that is sometimes uncomfortable from a simple human emotional standpoint. However, from a statistcal standpoint, the ratio still renders you profitable. I needed that reminder today. The timing of this read couldn’t be more on point. Thank you Peter. And if you’re not, follow him on Twitter. I just did.

People will always talk about you, especially when they envy you and the life you live. Let them… you affected their lives, they didn’t affect yours.

Your growth always lies on the other side of your discomfort. Whether it’s in the weight room or in career decisions, you’ll never develop yourself by staying in your comfort zone. People don’t become old when they reach a certain birthday; they become old when they decide to live life without crossing that line of discomfort.
