I simply love that OUR art and artistic expression is being brought into the White House by The First Family. Of course, I love ballet and can appreciate opera. But POETRY AND SPOKEN WORD are beautiful African-American art forms. And deserve to be brought into the White House to educate and share with all cultures as well as ballet and opera.

I love this so much. She’s my 3rd baby and I’ve never heard this before even from the older kids. HAD to record it. The last time I recorded Laila she was 3 months old. Now 3 years old, needless to say, she is growing beautifully :)
