Our Mother-Daughter Hike
After Sea World, Imani and I went on a hike on the coast of California in Point Loma. It was breezy and beautiful. We saw plenty of lizards on the trail and crabs in the tide pools. A great end to our wonderful weekend together.

My First Mother-Daughter Sleepover
My daughter as a 2nd grader became a Girl Scout. I did have my reservations about it, but today I thanked Imani for becoming a Girl Scout. This weekend we went on our first mother-daughter sleepover at Sea World San Diego.
And I woke up to this this morning because of all their talking! Beluga whales sure are some chatty animals (I wish the sound came through on the video, o well).

I took the family on a morning hike through Eaton Canyon to find Eaton Canyon Falls. This is a 4-mile hike both ways, climbing over rocks, crossing through the river at least 10 times, and walking the trail path. The kids did an excellent job and made it all the way to the waterfall. What an adventure! Great start to my Mothers Day!!
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!! I was greeted this morning by beautiful rose bushes and flowers all over the backyard. Had to share a portion with you. To all my Moms - have a beautiful day!!
