Hubby finally made it across the pond in his first European trip. I have already been to Italy (that was over 10 years ago before the euro) so I was thrilled that he was finally getting the opportunity to go to Europe. He traveled to Paris to cover The Tourist, the new thriller starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. I am so proud of him. He made BlackTree happen and is living his dream.
A great shot of BlackTree TV covering the Urbanworld Film Festival in NYC. Our producer, @DJ_Sweets, did an excellent job getting the mic flag in place with the beautiful Kerry Washington. Now this photograph is being used by the Urbanworld Film Festival in all of their press releases.

Our first time at The Oscars! Excellent coverage, excellent production BlackTree!
I woke up this morning and had the pleasure of watching my husband get ready for BlackTree’s first time at The Oscars. I tweeted that this was my first time seeing him in a tuxedo and how FINE! he looks in it. I got a bunch of replies that I should have posted a picture. So here he is on the red carpet. Looking good as hell :)
I AM SO PROUD OF HIM!

I liked the movie. It really is a good film and it is funny too. The voodoo in the movie was a little too scary for the kids but I’m sure they’ll come around once they see it a few times. A great cast with some surprise names in there. I agree with Keith David - the film is indeed historical. “The Princess and the Frog” is Disney’s first Black princess. I have to admit I’ve never noticed. Terrence Howard makes the point in the video that all little girls related to Snow White. Nevertheless, it is interesting to consider that in its 86 year history Disney has cast an Arab and Native American princess before casting a Black one.
