President Barack Obama made his first State of The Union address 2 nights ago. I had been hearing A LOT of bad reviews about the President in the new year. I was hoping that his speech would quell all that and help ME see where his head is at. Listening to the media, it sounded as though The President had lost his way. The State of the Union he gave showed a man with some solid experience behind him and a man who has learned from it.
This morning, The President called all the Republican Congressman together for a special debate. Brilliant political move!
“Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can to make sure you have the education you need… I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books, equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to do your part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect you to put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great things from each of you. So don’t let us down… Make us all proud. I know you can do it.”

Yup, at forty-seven (forty-eight in August), our president is the first ever to have grown up with Sesame Street.
Unbelievabe, that he is the first. And yet how cool is that?! I mean, can this man get any cooler?

Hybrid trucks!! Wow. My favorite is “President Obama stands in front of a plug-in hybrid Ford F-550 ‘trouble truck’ that was jointly developed by the Electronic Power Research Institute, Eaton Corp. and Ford”. Talking to Mommy when I saw it and we talked about our President for a cool 10min tanget, lol.
