The Musings of Faith

An Ode To Mother Earth

I’ve always been a tree hugger. Directly because they are Nigerian, mine have always been “waste-not-EVER” parents. So even if they never admit it, it’s in my blood. I do my best to support local farmers and green companies. When I grow up, I’ll be an investor in green and sustainable technology. The status quo believes that such investments require significant capital. I believe the most disruption in sustainability will come with a relatively smaller price tag. It is the way of an already hyper-inflated developed world. So-called developing economies operate at much more realistic and less cost prohibitive realities. Non-Western countries have this as an advantage. The reward of green investments is unbelievably lasting good impact on Earth and its future generations.

That is my dream. In the meantime, I save the best ideas and innovations that cause me to ponder, think, reflect and create as musings of faith. ENJOY!

When my good friend called for posts to reflect on climate change, I knew I would do something a little bit different. I wanted to honor the planet. It inspires me. I am in awe of nature. Its beauty can literally make you stop what you are doing and just ponder its awesomeness. It helps that I live in one of the most beautiful cities in world. So I decided to honor the awesomeness that is and comes from the one thing that makes all of us the same - our planet.
