Christmas Dinner 2010
Perfect execution :)
Today is the last day of 2010 and it has been an amazing year for me. I experienced so much growth professionally that I never saw coming. I attended my first traders conference and met many of the folks that I admire and follow on Twitter. I even met some of my own followers which made me feel like a pseudo-celebrity lol. I became editor of a forex blog. I was invited to co-author a finance book. I had to create a fan page. For myself. BlackTree has turned into an awesome investment as it grows and expands into both domestic and international markets. And I ended the year with amazing opportunities to further my trading career in ways that I never imagined. This year was all about conquering fears and feelings of inadequacy to embrace opportunity and new experiences.
Personally, I celebrated a 2nd year of marriage. I fought for my children’s elementary school to remain open (and we won!). I became more active in their education both at their school and at the district level. I learned that being a wife and mother is the most rewarding and hardest thing on this planet. Period. I learned that though I can be all things to my children and husband, I still need help and I need balance.
I am learning how to be a better friend. I am learning to go after what I want. I am learning to say no. This has been the year of increase and I never could have imagined the journey that God had for me this year. I look forward to 2011 knowing that 2010 was the catalyst for it all.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I got totally hooked up this year. The kids got me the shirt because I stay up late (lol!) and it’s beautiful. Hubby got the shoes and asked all my sister and sorors their opinions before choosing (they gave him great guidance).
And yes!!! That is a tablet!! Woooooo!!!!! A Samsung Galaxy. I wasn’t liking being yanked from my Apple world but I am totally in love with now. I can trade on it!!!!! Yes!
Best Christmas ever!!!!!
The kids, especially Jelani, are super excited. It was his idea to give Santa juice this year. lol.
THE FOOD WAS CRAZY!!!! This year I used food I bought at The Farmer’s Market (or Whole Food) and it made a difference. Everything was so so so yummy. wow so good.
Happy Thanksgiving!
