Im worried about how much time I have free to put in to forex as I work full time, have a family etc but am looking to the future. Im certainly not looking for a get rich quick scheme...10 yrs is good for me! If I commit and put in as much work and effort as I can, do you think I will succeed?

Yes, I think you can succeed. Know that it will take much, much hard work. In that, you will loose money, become frustrated and want to quit to do something much easier for money like work a job. If you want this business and the lifestyle it can afford, you will work and loose much to get through the other side of it all to success.

Signing up here is a first step. Read as much as you can on trading and trading psychology. Learn what kind of trader you are. Attend webinars and conferences. Follow the best traders on Twitter and StocktTwits. Become disciplined and consistent in your approach to the markets. Learn how to control your risk and trade accordingly. Do all these things over many years and you can be successful. Good luck to you!

I have a subscription service for anyone who wants to read how I interpret charts and make analysis. There is a nominal fee but you gain much more insight than can be delivered in 140 characters.

Starting a garden with the 5th graders at the kids’ school. I don’t know much about gardening but I know it’ll be fun and the kids’ will learn a ton!

My volunteering duties cranked up full blast this year and it is all culminating in this garden project. I’m so proud of the work I have done this year for the GATE program in the face of more and more budget cuts. GATE has increased its value so much this year since I took over as a lead parent volunteer. Truly a testament to the power of parents in public education.
